Trip Overview:This one week tour to Urumqi, Kashgar, Tashkogan, you can see numerous natural and man-made sights of Urumqi; visit Kashgar where it commands access to the high glacial passes of the Silk Road routes into Central Asia, India and Persia; visit the famous stone city in Tashkorgan; and you also can visit the border between China and Pakistan. Day 01 Entry Urumqi (meals:-/-/-)

Program: Our guide will pick you up at Urumqi airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 02 Urumqi (meals:B/L/-)

Program: Tianchi Lake(Heavenly Lake)

Depart from your hotel after breakfast to the Heaven lake. Heaven lake Situated in the Tianshan range, 115 km northeast of Urumqi, Tianchi Lake is one of the main tourist attractions in China. The lake is hemmed in by majestic snow-crowned peaks west of Bogda Mountain and it is geologically a moraine lake 3,400 meters long, 1,500 meters wide and 1,980 meters above sea level. Covered firs, pines and cypresses and white snow, it boasts a spectacular sight- reminiscent of Switzerland or the Rocky mountains but somehow with more vibrancy and color. Amidst fields of wild flowers grow morel mushrooms, while peppermint and rhubarb, while higher up the mountain are edelweiss and the rare, creamy Snow Lotus, which grows from rock crevices and is believed to have magical powers as medical cure. You have to spend one day there, so a lunch will be prepared for you.

Day 03 Urumqi flight to Kashgar (meals:B/L/-)

Program:Nanshan Pasture / Xinjiang Regional Museum

Depart from your hotel after breakfast to visit the Southern Pasture. Located in the valley of Tian Mountain, the pasture is a very beautiful place of grazing herbs, with mountains, valleys, waterfalls, and cypress and pine trees.
Then you will visit the Xinjiang Regional Museum This museum houses an impressive collection of exhibits, covering artifacts and relics from more than 12 minority groups. After lunch you will flight to Kashgar

Day 04 Kashgar (meals:B/L/-)

Program: Idgar Mosque / Tomb Xiangfei / Sunday Bazaar/

Depart from your hotel after breakfast to visit the Idgar Mosque. This mosque, the largest one in China, can accommodate 20000 people, and almost certainly the most active, in the country. You can even hear the call to prayer booming around the city center-a rare sound in China.

Fragrant Concubine Tomb (Tomb of Xiangfei ): It is a monumental hall, finished in 1640, with a large dome of dazzling glazed green tiles.

Sunday Bazaar: Once a week Kashgar s population sellers by 50000 as people from across the area stream into the Sunday morning bazaar. On Sundays, thousands of farmers driving carts flock from the countryside to the great Kashgar bazaar around Aizilaiti Lu, east of the Tuman River.

Day 05 Kashgar/ Tashkorgan (meals:B/L/-)

Program: Take car to Tashkorgan. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 06 Tashkorgan (meals:B/L/-)

Sightseeings: Kalakuli Lake.

Karakuri Lake, known as the father of glaciers, sits at an elevation of 3600 meters and is located at the foot of Mount Maztagata. It is an unspoiled place like Shangri-La with its dramatic and spectacular natural scenery. The surface of the lake reflects the snow-covered peaks of Mount Muztagata, which towers in the background. Hikes and walks around here are refreshing, especially in summer when flowers bloom and the air is fresh and pleasant.

Day 07 Exit (meals:B/L/-)

Program: See off through Khunjerab Pass.

For centuries the Khunjerab Pass, lying some 400km south of Kashgar, was the key silk road crossing point between the Chinese world and the Indian subcontinent-and then to the whole western world.
