Trip Overview:This 23-day tour combines some of South China's main attractions like Hong Kong with some of the less well-known places such as the spring city of Kunming. It also gives you the chance to experience the great varieties of cultures living in China from the Cantonese speaking inhabitants of Hong Kong to the Tibetan tribes that live in the mighty Himalayas. Taste your way through South China with Dim Sum in the deep south, Guilin rice noodles in Guangxi and seafood specialties in Shanghai. Towards the end of the tour gently cruise back in the direction of Shanghai along the Yangtze River taking in the views and enjoying the company of others. This tour is packed with diversity, beauty and a sprinkling of adventure.

-Big Banyan Tree: The 1,300-odd-year-old Banyan Tree is located 7 kilometers south of the Yangshou County. Its branches spread out in all directions and its roots twisting crisscross, and the tree takes six men to enclose its trunk with their arms stretched out. Under the tree there is an aged ferry, called Aged Ferry under the Shade of the Aged Banyan. On the opposite bank of the river stands a hill with a cave going through it, therefore the hill came by the name Pierced-through Hill. A hook-shaped rock, called the Golden Hook, protruded from near the hilltop, and another rock is found at the foot of the hill, which resembles a living frog ready to jump into the stream at any time.
-Moon Hill: Moon Hill has a natural round cave at the peak and from a distance, the cave (a hole in the peak) resembles the moon, hence the name.It´s one of Yangshuo´s most visited sights. With an elevation of 380 meters, the hill is 230 meters in relative height and 410 meters in length. There are over 800 marble stairs leading to the cave. -West Hill & Dragon Gate: which is totally cut on a natural precipice, with an elevation of 2,500 meters, 8 kilometers west of Kunming city. The Dragon Gate is the highest temple on the West Hill. It is famous for its spectacular view. Climbing up the winding old stone stairs leading to the natural cliff-top platform, passing through an archway on which is inscribed "Longmen" (Dragon´s Gate), many inscriptions and steles are found here and there. You will have a birds-eye-view of Kunming city and the Dianchi Lake.
-Grand View Pavilion: which located 7 kilometers west of Kunming, at the lakeshore of Dianchi Lake. The Grand View Pavilion was built in 1682, by a Buddhist monk named Qianyin. It is famous for the longest antithetical couplet in China, this couplet of 180 characters is one of the most valued cultural treasures in Yunnan Province.

-Yu Garden: It is characteristic of the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty and it used to be a private garden with 400 years´ history. Infront of the garden, there is a market called Yu Market.
-Yuyuan Market: Yuyuan Market found beside Yuyuan Garden is a bazaar of stores that sells traditional Chinese arts and crafts and souvenirs. The stores sell a mish-mash of items including chopsticks, Chinese medicine, walking sticks, fans, silk umbrellas, bamboo and rattan furniture, goldfish, pottery, plus much more. Part of the market has also been transformed into an indoor mall. Food is also a great temptation in Yuyuan Market with local delicacies such as xiao long bao, pigeon egg dumplings and spicy cold noodles from the street stalls or numerous restaurants.
