Day 2

Program: A full day excursion by seat-in coach starting from the center of Beijing by visiting the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, then go to the Temple of Heaven where you can experience the local people’s life, and the royal garden Summer Palace,

-The Tian'anmen Square: Visit the largest city square in the world at the heart of Beijing

-The Forbidden City: Listed by the UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage, the world's largest palace complex covers a floor space of 720,000 square meters. It houses numerous rare treasures and curiosities after 500 years being an imperial palace.

-The Temple of Heaven: China's largest existing complex of ancient sacrificial buildings occupies an area of 273 hectares. It is three times the area of the Forbidden City, where you may see local people doing the morning exercises, practicing Taiji, dancing and even singing the Pecking Opera

Day 3

Program: Today's excursion by seat-in coach will leave you a deep impression because of the splendid Badaling Great Wall, which is the most popular section. And after lunch visit the Ming Tomb. Then on your way back to hotel you will have an exterior view of the 2008 Olympic sights: Bird's Nest and the Water Cube,

-Badaling Great Wall: One of the Seven Wonders of the World and the symbol of China. With a history of more than 2000 years and approximately 6,700 kilometers The Great wall of China offers a unique opportunity to experience this wonderful country. Among the most popular sections is the Great Wall at Badaling, The Great Wall at Mutianyu and The Great Wall at Simatai

-The Ming Tomb: The Ming tombs of the 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty were located on the southern slope of Mount Taishou (originally Mount Huangtu)

-"Bird's Nest": the Beijing National Stadium is the main track and field stadium for the 2008 Summer Olympics and has hosted the Opening and Closing ceremonies.

-"Water Cube": the National Swimming Center, with "bubbles" spread out all over its surface, is a shape very similar to the structure of "H2O".

Day 4

  • Today's Activities: Beijing, Beijing Hutong, Beijing Zoo, Train Station Transfer, Xian

Transfer via: by overnight train at soft sleeper Z19 (21:24-08:25+1)

Program: After breakfast in the hotel, you will have 2 hours Hutong tour, and have lunch in the local family. Then visit Beijing Zoo and Panda House. Be transferred to Beijing train station for overnight train to Xian, it would be your special experience in your China tour.

-Hutong tour: Go through old narrow paths where common people lived in ancient China and you also have an opportunity to get an insight into Chinese present life by joining a meal in a local family house. See also the Bell Tower, the Drum Tower, the Tea House and the lake.

-Beijing Zoo: It is located in the northwest area of Beijing city. It is the oldest and largest zoo in the Asia Pacific area and the world-famous home of the giant pandas

-Panda House: The busiest area of the Beijing Zoo is the famous Panda House, home to giant and lesser pandas of China. It is located in the northwest area of Beijing. Don't miss the small Red Pandas in the trees as you exit.

-The Provincial Museum: Built at the site of a former Confucian temple in the southern part of Xian, this is the largest comprehensive museum in the province. It exhibits primarily historical relics of past dynasties and displays precious art treasures.

-The Ancient City Wall: It is the largest and best preserved present city wall in ancient China and is probably the best military battlement in the world.

-Great Mosque: It is the largest and best preserved of the early mosques of China. Built primarily in the Ming Dynasty when Chinese architectural elements were synthesized into mosque architecture

Day 6

Program: Great day to join in the amazing tour to Museum of Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, Emperor Qinshihuang Mausoleum, Banpo Neolithic Village
Today you will first visit the archeological site of Banpo Village, built more than 6,000 year ago, and you will see how the resident matriarchic tribe used to survive in the Neolithic age. The site hosts a collection of utensils and a reconstruction of the primitive buildings typical of this village. Afterwards, you will see one of the most fabled attractions of China: the Emperor’s Terracotta Army. The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. These terracotta warriors and horses are the size of a real army, and were buried alongside the Emperor in a vast underground palace. Today they constitute a spectacular monument to the power and resources of Imperial China, and to the religious beliefs that informed Chinese spirituality throughout the ages. The tour ends with a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a Buddhist cultural relic that towers over the city.

Program: After breakfast in hotel be transferred to Xian airport for flight to Guilin. Be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel, then visit Elephant Trunk Hill, which is the symbol of Guilin city. After that go to the city’s largest carve -- the Reed Flute Cave,

-Elephant Trunk Hill: As symbol of Guilin, it has become one of the most popular natural monuments. It resembles an elephant drinking from the Li River.

-Reed Flute: The Cave is Guilin's largest and most impressive cave. This cave is 790 feet deep. A visitor will walk for some 550 yards through a zigzagging way of stalactites and stalagmites in dazzling colors.

Day 8

  • Today's Activities: Guilin, Dock Transfer, Li River, Yangshuo, West Street

Program: Today’s program is the pick of the basket: Li River Cruise downstream to Yangshuo with lunch on board. On arrival Yangshuo, walking along the West Street, you will find many interesting stores.

-The Li River cruise: from Guilin to Yangshuo is the centerpiece of any trip to northeastern Guangxi Province. The eye-feasting landscape and country scenery will never disappoint you. And it has been call the most beautiful senerary in China.

-West Street: It is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Situated at the center of Yangshuo County, West Street has become, since the 1980's, a window of eastern and western culture and the biggest 'foreign language center' in China. West Street is the most prosperous district in Yangshuo, and, each year, approximately 100,000 foreigners come here on their travels or to attend advanced studies. Visitors are attracted to West Street by its unique mix of cultures.

Day 9

  • Today's Activities: Yangshuo, Moon Hill, The Big Banyan Tree, Bus Transfer, Guilin, Airport Transfer, Shanghai

Program: In the morning, have a bicycle riding around the Yangshuo countryside, and visit the Moon Hill, and the 1,300-year old Big Banyan Tree; Transfer to Guilin airport for flight to Shanghai, Be met at the airport and transferred to hotel,

-Moon Hill: Moon Hill has a natural round cave at the peak and from a distance, the cave (a hole in the peak) resembles the moon, hence the name. It's one of Yangshuo's most visited sights. With an elevation of 380 meters, the hill is 230 meters in relative height and 410 meters in length. There are over 800 marble stairs leading to the cave. The stairs were completed in 1981, giving easy access to those who want to get a close view of the cave.

-Big Banyan Tree: The 1,300-old-year-old Banyan Tree is located 7 kilometers south of the Yangshou County. Its branches spread out in all directions and its roots twisting crisscross, and the tree takes six men to enclose its trunk with their arms stretched out. Under the tree there is an aged ferry, called “Aged Ferry under the Shade of the Aged Banyan.” On the opposite bank of the river stands a hill with a cave going through it, therefore the hill came by the name “Pierced-through Hill.” A hook-shaped rock, called the “Golden Hook,” protruded from near the hilltop, and another rock is found at the foot of the hill, which resembles a living frog ready to jump into the stream at any time.

Day 10

Program: Today you will join-in a group tour visiting Yuyuan Market, Yu Garden, The Bund, Old French Concession, Pudong New Financial Area, Shanghai 2010 Expo Park, and Old French Concession.

-Yuyuan Market: Yuyuan Market found beside Yuyuan Garden is a bazaar of stores that sells traditional Chinese arts and crafts and souvenirs. The stores sell a mish-mash of items including chopsticks, Chinese medicine, walking sticks, fans, silk umbrellas, bamboo and rattan furniture, goldfish, pottery, plus much more. Part of the market has also been transformed into an indoor mall.
Food is also a great temptation in Yuyuan Market with local delicacies such as xiao long bao, pigeon egg dumplings and spicy cold noodles from the street stalls or numerous restaurants.

-Yu Garden: It is characteristic of the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty and it used to be a private garden with 400 years' history. In front of the garden, there is a market called Yu Market.

-The Bund (Waitan): It is one of the most recognizable architectural symbols of Shanghai. It is here where the first British company opened an office in 1846.

-The French Concession: The French Concession is the area of Shanghai once designated for the French. Today, the area's central Huaihai Rd is a busy shopping street, but the tree-lined avenues and their many Tudor mansions still retain an air of the "Paris of the East".

-EXPO 2010 Shanghai: It would be the most important event in Shanghai 2010. Being the first World Exposition on the theme of city, Exposition 2010 will attract governments and people from across the world, focusing on the theme "Better City, Better Life." For its 184 days, participants will display urban civilization to the full extent, exchange their experiences of urban development, disseminate advanced notions on cities and explore new approaches to human habitat, lifestyle and working conditions in the new century.

Day 11

Program: Enjoy your leisure join-in tour to Suzhou, visiting Lingering Garden, The No.1 Silk Factory & Zhouzhuang Water Village

-The Lingering garden is separated into the middle, eastern, northern and western parts connecting with beautiful corridors of 700 meters long. Of the four parts, the central part is the essence of the whole complex. The overall construction of this garden has features with artificial hills, limestone of different shapes, exquisite pavilions and a plenty of attractive buildings.

-Suzhou's silk enjoys great fame in China, even in the globe. Visiting Suzhou, the No. 1 Silk Factory is recommended. It has 7000 square meters silk shopping mall and 3000 square meters dining places, which grealy provide convenience to visitors at home and abroad.

-Zhouzhuang: It is regarded as the little Venice of China. To perambulate its Little Watterways, Hauses and streets are a very exiting experience.
