Day 1: Meet you in Beijing's Airport and Transfer you to the hotel

Day 2: All day Beijing tour to the Tiananmen Square,Forbidden City andTemple of Heaven

Program

Depart from your hotel in the morning to have city tours to visit Tiananmen Square, the symbolical heart of China and gathering place for the masses. It is the biggest public square in the world, which can hold one million people. Have a free walk there, imagining the great historic events of the 20th century that took place there. You will also see legendary landmarks including the Great Hall of the People and the towering 125 foot granite obelisk, Monument to the People´s Heroes, honoring those who died in revolution.

Walking across the Golden River Bridge, enter the Forbidden City, the inner sanctum and palace where for centuries Chinese emperors ruled their world. It has a 9000-room maze of courtyards, palaces, and ceremonial halls, where 24 emperors used to live. The Forbidden City was indeed a forbidden place, where commoners were kept out for nearly 500 years. Tour the palace and imagine the mystery, intrigue and incredible power that reigned here.

After having lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Temple of Heaven. It was built in the 15th century, a sacred site for ancient Beijing, where the emperor and his 1000 member entourage would retreat twice a year for religious rituals. Surrounded by enormous grounds designed in accordance with Fengshui, the Temple complex consists of the Celebrated Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, a unique wooden and blue-tiled structure built without a nail. It is considered the supreme achievement of traditional Chinese architecture.

Day 3: All day Beijing program to Great Wall of Mutianyu and the Summer Palace

Program:

After breakfast, we will drive about 1.5 hours to visit the Great Wall of Mutianyu. Mutianyu Great Wall is located at Huairou County some 73 kilometers (about 45 miles) northeast of Beijing urban area, it winds along mountains from the southeast to the northwest for approximately 2.25 kilometers (about 1.4 miles). 

In the afternoon, we will drive back to the downtown to visit the largest existing royal garden -- Summer Palace. The natural landscape of hills and open water is combined with artificial features such as pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges to form a harmonious ensemble of outstanding aesthetic value.

Day 4: Take flight from Beijing to Xian in the morning, and visit Shaanxi Provincial Museum in Xian in the afternoon

Program:

Take the flight from Beijing to Xian in the morning (the flying time is about 2.5 hours). And in the afternoon, we will have a Xian tour to the Shaanxi Provincial Museum. It is the largest comprehensive museum in the province. It is also the fist national-level grand museum equipped with modern facilities. It exhibits primarily historical relics of past dynasties and displays precious art treasures and stone carvings of the Han and Tang dynasties. Walking through the exhibits in the museum is like walking through 3,000 years of Chinese history.

Day 5: Xian highlight to the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Drum Tower and Muslim quarter.

Program:

After breakfast, we will drive about 1 hour to Xianyang to  visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. It is the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century. It has been regarded as THE 8TH WONDER OF THE WORLD! Over 2,200 years ago, the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, in search of immortality, ordered the construction of a vast army of 8,000 life-sized Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses to be buried with him to protect his empire after his early death. 

In the afternoon, we will drive back to Xian downtown to visit the Drum Tower,which is the most well-preserved and best-known one among many ancient cities of China with more than 600 years history.  It is a very solemn and magnificent classical building within Xian city. Drum Tower and Bell Tower are regarded as "sister buildings" or "morning bell and dark drum".  After that, we will walk around the Muslim Quarter star from the Drum Tower. Snack is the main attraction in the street. Most of the Xian characteristic snack especially the Islamic snack can be easily found here. Many of them are very famous at home, and visitors won't miss the snacks when they visit Xian.

Day 6: In the morning, we will visit the Xian Ancient City Wall and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. and fly to Shanghai in the afternoon

Program:

after breakfast, we will visit the Ancient City Wall. It is the most complete city wall surviving in China as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. The wall was built in the Tang dynasty (618AD-907AD) and enlarged in the Ming dynasty (1368AD-1644AD).  And the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is one of the main constructions in the famous Buddhist Da-Ci-En Temple, the pagoda is one of the most distinctive and outstanding landmarks of Xian.

After all program, we will drive to Xian Airport for the flight to Shanghai. And your Shanghai guide will meet you at Shanghai airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 7: All day Shanghai tour to the Bund, Jade Buddha Temple and the Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower

Program:

After breakfast, visit the Bund. Have a stroll along the waterfront to experience the smells, sights and sounds of the old "Wall Street" of Shanghai. Banks, trading houses, residences, hotels and clubs all had a view of bustling Huangpu River traffic as they shared in the city´s rising and falling fortunes. 

Follow with the Jade Buddha Temple. Built in 1911, it is the most famous and one of the most active Buddhist temples in Shanghai, named for its two bejeweled white jade Buddhas--one is a 1000 kg, 1.9 meter-high figure carved from Burmese jade brought to China in 1882, and the other is a smaller reclining Buddha. The temple receives thousands of visitors and worshipers daily. Although Chinese New Year and the Buddha´s birthday are the most popular times to visit the temple for the faithful, it is possible to witness ceremonies at other times.

The next spot is the Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower. The tower is surrounded by the Yangpu Bridge in the northeast and the Nanpu Bridge in the southwest. With its 468 meters high (1,536 feet). It is the best place to have a birds-eye-view of Shanghai City.  Also the Shanghai History Museum  in the tower will show you the 700 years historical changes of Shanghai by old pictures and waxen. It is a museum shows you normal people and their daily life in old Shanghai.

Day 8: In the morning, we will visit the Shanghai Museum and Duolun Culture Street. After that, we will drive from Shanghai to Suzhou by private vehicle

Program:

Depart from your hotel to visit the Shanghai Museum. As a museum of ancient Chinese art, the Shanghai Museum possesses a collection of 120,000 precious works of art. Its rich and high-quality collection of ancient Chinese bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy is specially celebrated in the world. The present Shanghai Museum has eleven galleries and three special temporary exhibition halls.

After that, we will drive to Duolun Road Cultural Street. The old houses on the street was once home to several of China's most famous writers (as well as Kuomintang generals). Today it is lined with art stores, curio shops, galleries, tea houses,cafes, as well as private collection of museums.

After all program, we will transfer you to Suzhou with private vehicle.

Day 9: All day Suzhou program to Lingering Garden, Pingjiang Road and Panmen City Gate

Program:

After breakfast have a city tour to Lingering Garden. Built in 1522, it is one of the four most famous classical gardens in China. The garden is separated into the middle, eastern, northern and western parts, which connect with beautiful corridors 700 meters long. The whole garden features artificial mountains, unique limestone, beautiful pavilions and a number of attractive buildings. And then Pingjiang Road Historical Block is the most complete area of Suzhou ancient city so far, which can be called the epitome of the ancient Suzhou. Compared with the "Pingjiang Map" in the Southern Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD) and "the General Plan of the Waterways in Suzhou" in the late Ming Dynasty (1573-1644 AD), Pingjiang road has basically continued the pattern of city since the Tang and Song Dynasties, and has maintained vitality till now. After that, we will visit Panmen City Gate. It is the only well preserved water-and-land city gate in the world now.The current gate was reconstructed in 1351. It consists of Water and Land Gates, city gate tower and city walls at both sides. Now the gate is coverred by moss and plants, which add more historical atmosphere. 

After all program, we will drive to Hangzhou with private vehicle (or you could choose to take a high-speed train from Suzhou to Hangzhou).

Day 10: All day Hangzhou tour to the West Lake,Lingyin Temple,the Pagoda of Six Harmonies and Chinese Medicine Museum

Program:

All day program include the West Lake, one of the most famous tourist attractions in China. For centuries, West Lake has been well known both for its picturesque landscape and for its cultural heritage illustrating past dynasties. The landscape area of West Lake includes the surrounding hills and nearby historical sites as well as the lake itself. The lake area covers around 60 square kilometers consisting of 5.68 square kilometers of water area.

Lingyin Temple. It is one of the biggest and most famous ancient Buddhist temples in China and was first built by an Indian monk named Huili in 326 A.D. The temple was named Lingyin Temple (Temple of Inspired Seclusion) for its environment is serene and suitable for "gods resting in seclusion."

Following with the Pagoda of Six Harmonies. It is located on the northern bank of the Qiantang River, south of Hangzhou. It was first built in 970 A.D. but destroyed in war. What we see today is a brick and wooden structure rebuilt in 1153 A.D. At 59.89 meters high, the pagoda is the best place to have a bird´s-eye view of the scenery around the Qiantang River. Free at leisure in the evening.

And Huqingyu Tang Chinese Medicine Museum. It is a professional museum of Chinese Traditional Herbal Medicine and a key cultural relics and historic site.The exhibition halls introduce the origin, development, and application of traditional Chinese medicine and its role in the world history of medicine.

Stay in Hangzhou

Day 11: Fly from Hangzhou to Guilin in the morning. and visit the Elephant Trunk Hill and Folded Brocade Hill in the afternoon.

Program:

Take the morning flight from Hangzhou to Guilin. In the afternoon, we will visit the Guilin downtown to Elephant Trunk Hill. It is located on the west bank of the Li River by a small branch called Peach blossom River. Elephant Trunk Hill is regarded as the symbol of Guilin landscape.  And Folded Brocade Hill. it is trending horizontally across a tiny corner of the northern part of Guilin city. Because of the resemblance of its rock formations, piled up layer upon layer on each other, to folded brocade, local people gave the name Folded Brocade Hill to it.The highest peak--Bright Moon Peak is only 223 meters (732 feet) tall and comparatively easy to climb.here you will ge a birds-eye-view of the whole city.

Stay in Guilin

Day 12: Take Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, after arrive Yangshuo, visit the West Street and Silver Cave.

Program:

After breakfast, we will have a Li River cruise to Yangshuo (about 4.5-5.5 hours up-to the water velocity). The Li River is by far the main reason to visit Guilin. The cruise offer a relaxing way to enjoy the superlative river scenery and life along the banks of the Li River. In contrast to the burgeoning cities of the north, it is quiet here; the rural scenery is magnificent. You will enjoy picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalo, cows wandering around on both banks of the river. After we arrive the one-thousand-year-old town of Yangshuo,  we will visit the amazing West Street where local culture meet the west culture here. And then the Silver Cave. It is praised as "the World Limestone Cave Miracle" by the experts on Karsts geology from France. It is one of the most impressive caves with amazing crystal cave deposits in Guilin.

Day 13: All day free time in Yangshuo. Suggested program is to take a bike to visit the 10-Mile-Gallery in Yangshuo.

All day free in Yangshuo, you could enjoy the peace county by yourself.

Suggested program is to rent a bike, biking in the 10-mile-gallery include: Yulong river, which is a small steam of Li River, enjoy the peaceful country-side view with Karst land form.  Visit Old County Village where is by the side of Yulong River with lots of old houses. Upsteam to Yulong Village to see the pretty ancient bridge named Yulong Bridge and Jinlong bridge. Further more, bike to the Moon Hill, it is featured by the huge arched hole which looks like the moon on its top. You could climb to the top to enjoy the bird's view of Yangshuo 10-mile-gallery,or try rock climbing here. In addition to the impressive scenery, there are restaurants and  cafés surround.

Day 14: Take high-speed rail from Yangshuo to Guangzhou, Visit Memorial Hall of the Chen Family, Yuexiu Park and Zhenhai Tower in the afternoon.

Program:

We will take high-speed rail from Guilin to Guangzhou in the morning. 

In the afternoon, we will visit the Memorial Hall of the Chen Family, built in the 1890s. It is now the largest and best preserved and decorated ancient architecture existing in Guangdong province. The decoration combines wood carving, brick carving, stone carving, clay sculpture, ash sculpture, a brass and iron foundry, a grotto, etc. The special historical, artistic, and scientific aspects of the temple have made it an important attraction in Guangzhou.

And Yuexiu Park and Zhenhai Tower, Yuexiu Park is the home to some of the city´s famous sights including Guangzhou´s symbolic Statue of the Five Goats and the Guangzhou Museum. Zhenhai Tower  is Standing on the top of Yuexiu Hill in the northern suburbs of Guangzhou, Zhenhai Tower, the 28-meter-high five-storey tower, is also known as Five-storey Pagoda, and it was built on the order of Zhu Liangzu, the Yongjia Marquis of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

Day 15: Take a ferry from Guangzhou to Hong Kong in the morning. In the afternoon visit Victoria Peak,Aberdeen and Repulse Bay

Take Ferry from Guangzhou to Hong Kong in the morning.

And take a Hong Kong City tour in the afternoon ,to visit Victoria Peak. The Peak is Hong Kong´s number one tourist destination. It features the city´s oldest mode of transport, the 112-year-old Peak Tram, and Hong Kong´s most unusual building and icon, The Peak Tower. It combines shops, restaurants, and entertainment.

Then visit Aberdeen Harbour. It is home of hundreds of people living on fishing junks. Take a sampan ride to get a close-up look at this unusual way of life.

Follow with Repulse Bay.Primarily an exclusive residential area, Repulse Bay has a relaxed, resort-like atmosphere. The wide beach is popular with residents and great for sandy strolls. It features statues of Kwun Yum and Tin Hau, both protectors of fishermen. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
