Sightseeing: Badaling Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Bird Nest, Water Cube
1. Be met you at your hotel between 7:00am and 8:30am, and then drive to Ming Tombs. The Ming Tombs (Changling) are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with more than 500 years history. You will visit Changling, it is in the center and it is the largest Ming Tomb in these tombs. Emperor Yongle (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu were buried. The sightseeing will be about 1 hour.
2. Before lunch (11:30 am), you will have 45 minutes to pay a short visit to Jade Carving Factory. Jade in China is the representative of Happiness and lucky, caving give the jade more meanings, for example, jade Kwan-yin is only for male to pray for good luck, but to female, Maitreya is one of the best choice for good luck. Jade carving means a lot to Chinese culture.
3. After having traditional Chinese lunch at Jindian restaurant, drived to Badaling Great Wall. You will have 2 hours to enjoy this most beautiful part of Great Wall. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. Cable car is available and optional.
4. On the way to your hotels, we arrange a short exterior visit to "the Bird Nest, Water Cube"--the main Olympic Stadium for the 2008 Olympic Games. After that, you will could enjoy Chinese traditional Silk arts. At last, be transferred back to your hotels.
