1 Day Beijing Jinshanling Great Wall Hiking Bus Tour

Day 1: Be drived 2.5 hours to Great Wall of Jinshanling Section, and star our Great Wall Hiking (about 6 km up and down). After the program, drive back.

Program:
Around 6:00am pick up from your hotel in downtown Beijing. We offer simple breakfast on the bus. Arrival at Jinshanling Great Wall around 9:00am. Hike the east section of Jinshanling Great Wall. Jinshanling Great Wall is located about 130 km from downtown Beijing. The Jinshanling Great Wall was first constructedly built in the Ming Dynasty. The famous general, Xu Da, of the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) supervised and directed the construction of the Great Wall. Later, Qi Jiguang led a number of defense works while guarding the north area in 1567.

The round trip hike is about 6 km and takes about 3 hours. Each tower has its unique feature and sightseeing. There are relatively less crowded here at Jinshanling Great Wall, it is a nice place to explore the Great Wall in Beijing. After lunch at a local restaurant, transferred back to your downtown hotel in Beijing.

Notes:

1. There is no toilet along the path on the Wall. There are toilets at the entrance of Jiankou and Mutianyu. Please prepare before hiking and always carry toilet paper by yourself.

2. Please don’t make any appointment after the trip as the return depending on the traffic between 5-6 pm.

3. Unlimited bottled waters are stored in our car/van today, and you need a day pack to carry them.

4. We will bring trekking poles in our car/van and please tell your guide if you need one.

5. Since this trip will go through jungles and bushes, then shorts are not recommended in summer time.

6. Travel insurance is optional and is the sole responsibility of travellers. It is strongly encouraged to have coverage of injury or accident.

7. As responsible travelers, we “take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprint”.

**You will be contacted by the guide, who will call your hotel room number to make a picking-up time with you for the tour of next day.

**Our picking-up place is alway within the third ring. If your hotel is too far to arrange picking-up service, you need to contact your travel consultant to confirm this.

**If you book hotel with us, DCT always suggests a hotel with better location so that you don’t have to worry about the picking-up service.

**If your arrival time and departure time is too early or too late, you may be charged extra CNY 50 each time for the transportation fee for the tour guide.

**The prices are inapplicable during the May Labor's Day (1st -3th May), Chinese National Day (1st - 7th Oct), Chinese Spring Festival and big events.
