Mainland and Taiwan Agree To Add Four New Destinations

It is agreed by the civil aviation administrations of the mainland and Taiwan that they will increase new destinations in mainland and the number of flights during the Spring Festival.
From this Spring Festival in 2010, there are four new destinations Taiyuan, Changchun, Nanning, and Yantai will have scheduled flights between the mainland and Taiwan. Then there are 31 mainland cities destinations in total. Currently, there are 270 scheduled and charter flights each week between the mainland and Taiwan. During the 2010 Spring Festival (from January 31 to February 28), more flights will be added. Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen will have five, eight, five and four additional flights respectively to Taiwan each week. And Songshan in Taiwan will have no less than 12 additional flights to the mainland each week. |
