Hotline 12301 is a nationwide travel service providing travel information to domestic and foreign travelers via an agent dialogue service. Its service includes consultation on hotels, scenic spots and travel agencies, reporting tourists' suggestions and reviews to relevant departments, handling complaints upon travel service quality, tourism rescue and travel tips.

Tourists in Kunming can dial 12301 directly from 8:00 to 18:00 each day, 0871 or +86 871 should be added to the number if you are outside of Kunming.

The Yunnan tourism video site vod.yunnantourism.com is the first professional tourism video-on-demand site in China. Currently there are about 100 video clips available online. In the near future, tourists will be able to upload their own video clips to the site after the video upload function is added to the site.
