The Zhangjiajie Dacheng Shanshui Tianxia International Hotel, which is reported to be the largest business travel hotel in China, has started to construct on schedule.

Invested by Hunnan Dacheng International Hotel Company, the hotel is the first luxury five-star hotel focusing on business travel in Zhangjiajie. With about 170,000 square meters area, the hotel would have more than 2,000 guest rooms. The first phase is expected to finish with topping out this October and is slated to open in May 2010.

The hotel is situated in Nanzhuangping, only 2.3 kilometers away from Zhangjiajie Lotus Airport and 1.5 kilometers away from the railway station.

Statistical data shows that business and meeting travelers account for 39.9% of all the tourists that visit Zhangjiajie each year. To meet the huge demand, the hotel will have 15 medium and smail multi-function rooms with top facilities that have a capacity of 3,000 to 4,000 people for various events.
