From July 10th, Air China Ltd. Will launch a direct flight from Beijing to Lhasa, which will be the first flight linking the country’s capital and Lhasa.

The flight will depart from Beijing at 07:00 and arrive at Lhasa Gongga Airport at 10:50 every day. It will save passengers two hours compared with current flights which are routed through Chengdu.

This direct flight will bring greater convenience to tourists who want to visit Tibet. It is also expected to boost this region's tourism.
