In order to expand the tourism market in Chengdu, Macau government tourism office and Air Macau jointly held a large scale tourism promotion by increase flights.

At the campaign, Air Macau announced that from September it will increase the number of Chengdu-Macau flights to six a week. And from October 25, 2009, there will one flight per day from Chengdu to Macau.

To attract more tourists from Sichuan, Air Macau has also developed new products, including a half-day tour of Macau's world heritage sites and a shopping tour.
