Regal Hotels International’s latest hotel, the 5* Regal Master Hotel, has had its soft opening in Chengdu.

At its opening, the general manager Anthony Mirza said: “Regal has landed in Chengdu”. And he added that it signified a new era for comfort and style in Chengdu and a true home away from home for those who know and appreciate the best.

On the first day of opening the hotel, the renowned River Dance Group was welcomed to stay in the newly built hotel as its first group guests.

Situated on South Renmin Road, the Regal Master Hotel has 350-room with easy access to the main commercial, entertainment and shopping areas of Chengdu city through the pubic transport network and is only a 10-minute ride away from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.

The Regal Master Hotel features six restaurants and bars providing a wide range of cuisine and entertainment. Regal Court combines Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine in a contemporary decor; Avanti Ristorante serves Italian delicacies; Rivoli provides an East meets West a la carte menu showcasing an open kitchen; Tiffany Lounge offers comprehensive beverages along with live entertainment; Regala Cafe is open 24 hours a day; and the Pool Bar serves cocktails.

Also it has nine function meeting rooms of various sizes and a grand ballroom of 550 square meters that can accommodate up to 650 guests for a reception.

Recreational facilities include a 40-meter outdoor swimming pool with a sunbathing deck and a fitness center featuring a well-equipped gymnasium, sauna, steam bath, and Jacuzzi.

Besides the new hotel in Chengdu, Regal Hotels International currently operates three hotels in Shanghai and six in Hong Kong. The Group has several projects under development including a second hotel in Chengdu, the Regal Chengdu Hotel, and the Regal Kangbo Hotel in Dezhou.
