The new passenger service between Jinan and Taichung will be launched by Shandong Airlines from July 23, 2010.

Following the launch of flights from Jinan Qingdao, and Yantai to Taipei, this flight will be the fourth route from Shandong to Taiwan.

The airline has scheduled 4 flights a month, on Fridays, for this new service. Using Boeing 737-700 aircraft, it will depart Jinan at 08:00 and arrive to Taichung at 10:40. Return flights will leave at 11:40 from Taichung and arrive at Jinan at 14:25.

On Nov 29th, 2008 Shandong Airlines launched its first Taiwan route between Qingdao and Taipei. At present there are 7 roundtrip flights each week operated by Shandong Airlines, from Jinnan, Qingdao and Yantai to Taipei Taoyuan International Airport.
