On 18, June, 2008, three ultra-long trucks arrive at Ya´an Bifengxia Panda Base, carrying with 13 Pandas.

It is reported that the first vehicle is about 10-meter-long and have a sign in its body, saying "Transportation for agricultural products". Since the truck is too high to go through the gate, all the pandas within cages the have to be unloaded one by one out of the gate. There are 8 pandas to be carried out of the truck. And then the other two trucks arrive here and deal with other 5 pandas in the same way.

It is reported that there will be more pandas to be transferred here from Wolong. There were 22 pandas here before earthquake, and then reached to 28 pandas on 23, May. It is estimated that the number will come to 49.
