China Travel NewsA second batch of 113 travel agencies are now allowed to operate group tours to Taiwan. And the price for Taiwan tours is expected to fall by about 20 percent.
Three more travel agencies in both Guangdong and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region now have permission to organize group tours to Taiwan. As well as standard island tours, they are planning some new weekend tours, and they expect prices will fall.
One travel agent manager said "It´s very encouraging. It´s a new market for us, and there are also new opportunities."
