Brief Introduction
Club Rock (Wooden Club Peak) is a very famous hill with its unique shape like a wooden club standing up to the sky.

The hill is about 598 meters high and relatively 60 meters with its wooden club shape peak. Climb up to top, then enjoy a wonderful bird-eye-view of the Chengde city.

There is a legend about the hill. Long long ago, Chengde was a vast ocean. Club Rock was the sea hammer eyes. The people who lived near the shore lived on catching fish. There was a monster often came out of the sea to eat people. A young man was very brave and killed the monster´s eyes into be blind with fishing tool, which drove the Dragon King of the sea angry, he decided to kill the young man, but the daughter of the king loved him, so she rescued him by stealing the Dinghai needles. when they were found and run after by enemies, they used the Dinghai needle to blocked the sea-eye. At last, this place gradually turned into a land. while they got married and lived a happy life.
