Brief Introduction
Emerald Valley is considered as lovers´ Valley. It´s about an hour´s bus ride from Huangshan.

The Emerald Valley extends 6km at the foot of the Xiandu Mountain, which lies at the northern end of Mt.Huangshan. UP the terraced mountainside are strewn glittering green pools various in shape and size. With the constant change of light, the water changes its color into all shades of green, hence the name Emerald. The riot of color presents a kaleidoscopic scene. Rare waterfowls such as white swans and mandarin ducks are found in the valley. And as mandarin ducks symbolize love, the place is called Love Valley by the local people. It was amazing to see the contrast between the river filled with rubbish, flowing through the village, and the clear waters of Emerald Valley.

Features
It is famous for its emerald green or turquoise water pools and waterfalls, so it is a really beautiful place. The valley had gorgeous swimming pools and waterfalls; many shades of green in the water, trees, rock, bamboo, and mountains.
