Known as the Venice of the East, Suzhou is historical and cultural city with more than 2,500 years history. It is also called “the paradise on the earth” by Chinese. Located in southeast Jiangsu Province, Suzhou has advantaged traffic, only 1 hour drive way from Shanghai. The beautiful and distinguished gardens are the big feature of Suzhou. It has remains of the city wall (including land and water gates), old-style houses (with tile roofs and white-washed walls) lining the canals, as well as temples, pagodas, and gardens of special historical interest.
