Junshan Mountain, the most famous mountain in the Dongting Lake, was originally called Dongting Mountain.
Junshan Mountain is the island in Dongting Hu, lies in the southwest of urban area of Yuey ang squarely, 12 kilometers of journey by boat. The whole area is 0.98 sq. km. Face each other with the eternal floor of Yueyang Lou of famous building through the lake. It is that a massif is oval in shape, the island where both sides are high, low in the middle. It is an isolated island with 72 peaks, large or small.
Features
Of all the mountains of Taihu Lake, the East and West Dongting Mountains are the most famous. The East Mountain is a peninsula, while the West Mountain is the biggest island in Taihu Lake.
The area has long been a popular tourist attraction in the South of the Yangtze River thanks to the vast lake, green mountains, diverse products and gorgeous scenery.
