Traffic :1.Take the No. 6 Tourist Bus at the Xuanwumen Gate or the Dong Si Shi Tiao stop on public holidays.
2. Take No.916 or No.936 bus at Dongzhimen Gate, get off at Huairou Longshan Hotel (Huairou International Conference Center) and take a mini-bus to the wall.
3. During National Holidays, you can take a train at Xizhimen Gate Train Station and get off at Beizhai Train Station, and take a Tourist Mini-Bus to the wall.

Mutianyu Great Wall is located at Huairou County some 73 kilometers (about 45 miles) northeast of Beijing urban area, Mutianyu Great Wall winds along lofty, cragged mountains from the southeast to the northwest for approximately 2.25 kilometers (about 1.4 miles).
Connected with Juyongguan Pass to the west and Gubeikou to the east, this section of the Great Wall holds a prominent place in Chinese military history.
Features
It was developed as an alternative to Badaling Great Wall and is, in the balance, a less commercial experience despite motivated hawking and tourist clutter.
Both of the wall´s inner and outer sides have parapets to defend against enemies coming from the two sides.
Mutianyu Great Wall is also famous for the breath-takingly beautiful scenery. Woods cover over ninety-six percent of the total scenic area. The wall presents different aspects of beauty in the four seasons.
