Brief Introduction
Guilin Museum is one of the top 100 History and Culture museums in mainland of China. It is situated in Xishan Park of Guilin, and it was opened to the public in 1986. Covering an area of 10,000 square meters, Guilin Museum is famous for its abundant collections, from 200 pieces of celadon of Ming and Qing Dynasties to the antiques of 11 minority nationalities in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Among these cultural relic highlights, the most renowned collections are a piece of celadon of Ming and Qing Dynasties with a picture of flos mume, bamboo,pinaster and chrysanthemum flower which is the most psychrotolerant plants in ancient culture of China adored by Chinese scholars and a piece of mirror with four immortal beings on it in Sui Dynasty.

The Museum features four exhibition halls: the Exhibition Hall of Guilin Historical Relics, the Exhibition Hall of Guangxi Minority Folklore, the Exhibition Hall of Presents from International Exchanges, and the Exhibition Hall of Porcelains of Ming and Qing Dynasties. Among them, the Exhibition Hall of Guangxi Minority Folklore exhibits the customs of the 11 local ethnic minorities, and the Exhibition Hall of Porcelains of Ming and Qing Dynasties exhibits more than 200 porcelains.
