Brief Introduction :
Nengren Temple, the Guilin Buddhist Association conference site, is one of the Key Protection Cultural Relics and Historic Sites of Guilin. The temple’s precursor was the Branch of China Buddhist Association in Guangxi before liberation.
In history, Guilin was the capital of Guangxi province; it was the center of political, economic, cultural and religious in Guangxi province. So many famous temples were seated here. The Nengren Temple is one of them.
Located at Lijun road in the urban district, the Nengren Temple mainly consists of the Grand Buddha Hall and the Goddess of Mercy Temple. The temple was restored in the light of the regional one in 1995. Though the temple is not splendid or magnificent, it is clean, peaceful and solemn. There are 14 monkhoods living in the temple and more than 300 believers in society. And the Nengren Temple holds many Buddhist conferences and celebrations every year. The follows will come round religiously by that time. The Nengren Temple has been one of the four biggest bodhimandalas (Buddhist rites) in Guilin.
