Brief Introduction
The Haba Snow Mountain is located by the Golden Sand River with an elevation of 5,396 meters for its main peak, and the lowest river surface elevation of 1,550 meters above sea level.

The nature reserve extends 22 kilometers from south to north and 19 kilometers from east to west. About half of the 13,000 kinds of plants in Yunnan, the Kingdom of Plants, could be found in here.

The attraction of the Sanba Tourist Area is attributed to the towering peaks of the Haba Mountain and its alpine moraine lake, endless tracks of azalea flowers, and cluster of waterfalls cascading down snow-covered cliffs.

Features
Each year between June and August millions of azaleas come into bloom. One of the most unusual things about this spot is that you can walk on the flowers without crushing them!

There are also many waterfalls here. Known as the "Great Hanging Water", Haba Waterfall, which is more than 200m high and pours down with an amazing momentum, is tumbling down the northeastern side of the mountain. Besides, the mountain is rich in animal resources, such as gold-haired monkeys, rhesus monkey, wild boar and even snow leopards, pandas.
