The First Bend of Yellow River Travel Guide

The First Bend of Yellow River is at the junction of three provinces of Sichuan, Qinghai and Gansu, 61 km from Ruo'ergai County, passing through Tangke Village and continuously 9 km north of the village. The slope behind the Suoke TIbetan Temple is the best view point to have overlook at the bend.

Yellow River Originates from Bayan Har Mountains in Qinghai. It meets Baihe River in Tangke Village of Ruo'ergai County in Sichuan Province, forming a big S shape in the first bend of Yellow River. It has countless small highlands that look like small islands on the river. It's also the paradise for wild birds, so you can see red-crowned crane, black-necked crane and so on flying on the sky or standing on the islands. All the scenery make up of a harmonious and woderful painting.
