Congjiang County is located in the southeast Guizhou province, bordering with Sanjiang County, Rongshui County and Huaniang County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the east,  Libo County and Rongjiang County in west and Liping County in the north. It is 288km far from Guiyang city to Congjiang town and 5 hours by car. It is about 250km from Kaili city to Congjiang County, taking about 4.5 hours by car. From Congjiang to Sanjiang is 150km by car taking about 4hours. From Congjiang to Guilin, it is 300km faraway taking about 7 hours by car.
