Mangshi Bodhi Temple Travel Guide

Mangshi Luxi Bodhi Temple is built in the year of 1667. Because it has a frondent bodhi tree, it got the name Bodhi Temple. the temple is not very large (3600 square meter), but it has very strong Dai-minority style and is full of murals, paper-cutting, Buddhist classics, and art works in different Dai-minority historic periods. There are people reading Buddhist classics and pray in the temple everyday, what's more, there are grand Dai-minority festival held in this temple during Spring Festival. with the green hills and blue sky as background, you would have the feeling that you are standing in a peaceful painting.

1.By bus Take bus from Xibu Bus Station in Kunming to Mangshi 2.By Air Changshui Airport in Kunming to Mangshi Airport Bodhi Temple is in the downtown, you can take a taxi when you arrive in Mangshi County.
