Nyingchi Climate

Nyingchi prefecture is mainly in plateau temperate humid monsoon climate coexisted with composite climate of tropical climate, subtropical climate, temperate climate and boreal cold due to its unique geographic landscape. Nyingchi temperature is moderate around a year, with temperature of 10 to 22℃ in summer and -3 to 10℃ in winter. The annual rainfall is 600-2200 mm; the annual sunshine is more than 2000 hours and the frost free period is about 180 days.
