Lulang Forest Travel Guide

Lulang Forest is at the Lulang Town of Nyingchi County, Tibet, 80 km from Bayi Town from Sichuan and Tibet Highway. Lulang hinds itself at the deep mountains and forests, avoiding pollution and noisy, and has the reputation of Beauty Southern of Tibet.
Lulang Forest has poetic and picturesque sceneries, surrounded by snow mountains, alofting with thick forests, green meadow of large scale, blooming wild flowers as well as local dwellings. All the scenes make Lulang like a paradise on the earth. The forests are mainly composed by boscage, spruce, and pines with meadow in the middle, shaping in order just like planned by human.

Lulang has very precious and rare local specialties like conic gymnadenia tuber, tricholoma matsutake, Cyclobalanopsis, bolete, and the other fungus.
Lulang is attractive in all year round, showing different looks in four seasons. Azalea plays a leading role in May and June; Green forests and meadow are shown in July and August; snow white scene jumps into eyes from October.

If visit Lulang Forest for quite a long time, you should prepare water-proof cloth, medicine and sleeping bag. Don’t neglect altitude sickness and do bring necessary medicines.
