Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower Travel Guide

Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower is located in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai. The tower is surrounded by the Yangpu Bridge in the northeast and the Nanpu Bridge in the southwest. With its 468 meters high (1,536 feet). It is the best place to have a birds-eye-view of Shanghai City. 

The base of the tower is supported by three seven-meter wide slanting stanchions. Surrounding the eleven steel spheres that are "strung" vertically through the center of the tower are three nine-meter wide columns. 

There are three large spheres including the top sphere, known as the space module. Then there are five smaller spheres and three decorative spheres on the tower base. The entire structure rests on rich green grassland and gives the appearance of pearls shining on a jade plate. With its unique and amazing design; it has become the new landmark of Shanghai and a big magnet for tourists.

1. Shanghai History Museum.
Old pictures and waxen images show you the 700 years historical changes of Shanghai. It is a museum shows you normal people and their daily life in old Shanghai.

2. 78M Dynamic Ring Multimedia Show.
It will show you the image of Shanghai in the next 70 years.

3. 95M VR Roller Coaster.
It is the highest inoor VR roller coaster in Shanghai, with the theme of flying over Shanghai City. It transforms the original indoor roller coaster into the popular VR technology, become a more exciting, shocking and interesting adventure.

4. 259M Transpapent Observatory
Walking on air, it is the only 360 degree transparent glass sightseeing Gallery all over the world.

5. 263M Sightseeing Floor.
It is the main observation deck.

6. 351M Space Capsule Sightseeing Floor.
It is the highest point we could arrive on the tower.
