Sangke Grassland is located 1 km southwest of Xiahe Town. It is a fertile alpine grassland surrounded by mountains on four sides. Sangke Grassland is famous for its verdant grass and beautiful scenery with blue sky, fluffy clouds, vast lush grassland dotted with herds fo sleep and cattle. The middle part is the open and smooth mountain grassland. The Daxia River originally flows from south to north in Sangke Grasslands. It is the natural grazing grounds of the Tibetan national minority people.
