Tu Nationality Traditional Wedding Performance
It’s usually held near the bridge of magpies, Sanxia Family. When the bride is going to the wedding, she wears a beautiful gown with embroidered flowers and propitious animals, and wears red shoes. She would be carried by her brother with a straps, and her sister-in-lsw open the umbrella and accompany the bride to the bridal sedan chair. And then brothers of the bride stand next to the bridal sedan chair, which means that family protects the bride,the manager of the wedding takes two bottle of wine and sprinkle on the street, which means farewell wine.

Dragon Boat Festival
Dragon boat racing is always a traditional competition during Dragon Boat Festival in China. But in Yichang, the racing is not started until people assemble the dragon head and dragon tail on lunar calendar January 15th. Before the competition, there would be a ceremony in a temple. People take the dragon head to Quyuan Temple and ignite incenses, the host of the ceremony sing a song about Quyuan. The competition is grand, any team that get the red mark wins. Many drummers are standing around and hit drums to cheer for the athletes. After the competition, the final part is rowing back boats. Some athletes would perform some acrobatics on the boats.
