Zhaoxing Township is located in the south of Liping County in Guizhou province, 68 km far from Liping County, lying 133square kilometers with 163 village groups and 50 nature villages in about 23,400 populations in 2010. Zhaoxing inhabit Dong, Miao, Han and Shui nationalities and 95% populations are Dong people. Zhaoxing is popularity to tourists for its beautiful nature scenery, peculiar architecture and rich ethnic culture. The famous attractions in Zhaoxing are Zhaoxing Dong village, Dong drum tower complex, Tangan Dong village, Jitang Dong village, Pilin cave group, Dong Opera, Kam Grand Choirs, and other ethnic customs.
