Wulong Scenic Area Travel Guide

Located at the southeast of Chongqing, the Wulong Scenic Area is famous tourism destination for its cave, mountain, river and valley. Because of the unique beautiful scenery, many movies & TV programs have shooting scenes in Wulong, including Transformers 4, and Where is Papa Going.

Fairy Mountain
As a national AAAAA scenic area, Fairy Mountain is located at Wulong County, Chongqing, with an area of 8910 hectares. 1900 meters above sea level, the mountain has the highest peak 2033 meters. Because of its unique charm of the alpine grasslands, tropical rare snowy forest, green jungle beautiful landscape, it is known as the "Switzerland of the orient".
When the winter gleams the Fairy Mountain Snow, silver wrapped yarn, the mountain becomes the ideal spots for snow sports.
In summer Fairy Mountain is cool and pleasant, with the average temperature of 15 degrees lower than in urban area of Chongqing. It enjoys the reputation of "The summer palace of Chongqing".

Natural Three Bridges
The typical Karst landform -- Natural Three Bridges is the rare geological wonders ecotype tourism area. The three stone arch bridges: Denon Bridge, Tsing Lung Bridge, black dragon bridge are the great momentum of wonder in the world, it is also the Asia's largest natural bridge group.

Furong Cave
Furong cave is located in Wulong County Jiangkou Town Chongqing City Furong River, is a large limestone cave. The amazing sites can be found everywhere. Since it was discovered in 1993, scientific experts from all over the world has visit it countless times, without exception, have given it a high uation.
Around to Furong Cave, there has also developed with a shaft hole with a lot of peace huge caves -- Furong cave group. Furong cave and "Mammoth Cave" in America, the "Krames hole" in France are called the three largest caves in the world.

Wulong Valley (Longshuixia Fissure Gorge)
Wulong Valley area is progeny tens of millions of years ago and the formation is typical of Karst landscape. The valley is 5 kilometers long, 200-500 meters deep. It is a good ecological tourism and adventure tourism scenic area.
