Inner Mongolia Museum Travel Guide

Built in 1957, Inner Mongolia Museum is one of the earliest museums in ethnic minority areas in China. The museum mainly presents the formation of grassland culture and its development from ancient times to the present. Famous cultural relics in the collection include: the Golden Crown of the Hun's Kingdom in the Warring States Period, the jacket with the pattern of gold regiments printed in the Yuan Dynasty, and the incantation Shaman board of the white umbrella Bodhisattva altar in the Qing Dynasty. The basic exhibition halls of Inner Mongolia Museum are open to the public free of charge all the year round. You could make an appointment at least one day in advance, and the audience will receive the ticket with the reservation number.
