Heavenly Axe Sand Palace Travel Guide

Located in Longfeng Canyon east of Renshou Mountain of Anning District Lanzhou, it is a wonder of Danxia landform with red sandstone formed 25 million years ago.
Longfeng Canyon is zigzag but gentle and wonders of Danxia landform extend 4-5 km along the canyon. Some of them look like forest of pagodas; some of them look like pavilions, terraces, and towers… The 30 sights are like a series of sandstone palaces with harmonious layout, like being cut by a heavenly axe.

Traffic:

Walking 1.5 km after takeing a taxi to Renshou Mountain.

It will take you about 2 hours to enjoy all the sights. Walking-comfort shoes is nessessery.
