Zhaoxing Dong Village Travel Guide

Zhaoxing is situated in Liping County.It is the biggest and oldest and very classical Dong minority village groups in China.There are five drum towers and five flower bridges,which called Zhaoxing Drum Tower Complex because there are 5 family branches with the same family name LU, different drum tower and bridge represent a branch.The drum tower is a place for the whole branch villagers to get together to disuss some important matters and for entertaiment. So,it is always regarded as political and cutural center of the village groups.

There are two performances about local Dong singing, Kam Greand Choirs and dancing at 10:00 am and 8:00 pm, after the performance, you could join the local people dancing together.  The show contents are different in the morning and at night, you could go and enjoy.

Please register in the ticket office of the front gate if you would like to go out and visit other villages and terrace fields around.
