Niyang River is one the branches of Yalung Zangpo River, ranging from west to east, flowing to Yalung Zangpo in Nyingchi County with total 307 km.

The river is a mother river in Gongbu Area, means Goness’ tears in Tibetan language. The plantation along Niyang River is intact, distributing with many scenic spots with exquisite sceneries. It’s one of the most beautiful rivers in Tibet Plateau. There is a firm rock in midstream, with a size as a villa, standing tall and upright in the middle of the river. When lashing against the rock, water splashes in all directions. Lots of tourist get off the vehicle and take photos there.
