Once known as the "Paris of the East", Shanghai is now a city with the population of more than 25 million, the largest economic and trade center, as well as a famous historical and cultural city in China. It is also a famous tourist destination with many beautiful tourist attractions, such as the Bund, Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple. The city is an intriguing mix- along the riverside are grand streets with European-style buildings and the old Chinese Quarter nearby.
