Moon Hill Travel Guide

The Moon Hill located eight kilometers away from Yangshuo is one of the natural miracles. It is featured by the huge arched hole which looks like the moon on its top. In addition to the impressive scenery, the inns and cafés surround the Moon Hill Park are good choices for backpackers.

A small marble paved path designed carefully enables you to appreciate the Moon Hill from different angles. The path has 890 steps totally. As moving on, you can see the sky through the hole which resembles from a crescent to a full moon. from the hilltop, you can have a bird’s-eye view of the rural landscape including villages, paddy fields and silky rivers and so on.

Furthermore, there are several characteristic inns around the Moon Hill scenic spot. Though not as luxury as the star-rated hotels on the West Street, they are idyllic, comfortable with necessary living facilities.
