Leisurely roaming in Kuan Zhai Alley in Chengdu

     Kuanzhai Alley, one of the three historical and cultural protections in Chengdu, consists in Kuan Alley, Zhai Alley and Jing Alley in parallel location. Kuan means wide; Zhai means narrow; Jing means Wells. Kuan Zhai Alley means a wide alley and a narrow alley, as well as an alley named wells.



     It’s said that walking on the alleys just felt like firsthand experiencing an original life of local Chengdu citizens. There are well-preserved old walls, gates, hitching post, old trees.
