Watching the sword and the spear, the story that Goujian was enduring hardship to make revival of the country is alive again in the museum. The king of Yue, Goujian lost the war and became a capture of the King of Wu, Fu Chai. According to the legend, after good performance of Goujian, Fu chai was convinced that he had accepted his overlordship and could be used as a faithful vassal of Wu, so he restored him to the throne of Yue. Returning to his own country, Goujian swore to make Yue strong enough to avenge his humiliation. He was fearing that comfort might sap his determination, every night he slept on a pile of brushwood and every morning sucked on a deer’s gallbladder to keep alive his resentment and bitterness. Finally he destroyed the State of Wu in a lighting swoop.





    The museum also has items that had been reserved from Modern Times of China, and some paintings and sculptures of revolutionary pioneers. Every items and pictures captures every moment of history, even though you can go back to that time and witness what happened, history will never be forgotten. Wuhan used to be called Wuchang, and there was a famous movement called Wuchang Revolution. In modern China, Wuhan is a very important town because of its transportation and manufacturing industry.
