Tiger Leaping Gorge in Yunan: the most spectacular canyon in the world

It is known by all hikers that Tiger Leaping Gorge is famous for its precipitous, with high steep mountains standing by the two sides of the canyon. 


There is Jade Dragon Snow Mountain to the east, which is capped by snow all year with silver peaks into the cloud;  Haba Snow Mountain to the west, which is quite lofty and steel with a platform in the middle of the mountain and pretipitous cliff at the foot.


After running through the first bay of Yangtze River in Shigu Town,the rapid Jinsha River turns around the flow to the north and crushs through the crack between Haba and Jade Dragon so as to form the most spectacular canyon in the world. 

The famous scenery spot of Tiger Leaping Gorge is the most narrow place in the canyon. It is said that a tiger can jump over Jinsha River by stepping on a large stone in the river. 

And most of visitors come here to visit the Upper Gorge. 


Under the cliffs, thousands of waves rolling over like a large number of dragons or like ten thousands of silver horses to run through the canyon. How spectacular!!!
