Detian Waterfall and Mingshi Pastoral at Daxin County

Detian Waterfalls locates at the Shuolong Town, Daxin County, Guangxi Region, the border Between China and Vietnam. The waterfall is national scenic spots, stretching across China and Vietnam, raking after Iguazu Waterfall between Brazil and Argentina,Victoria Waterfall between Zambia and Zimbabwe, Niagara Waterfall between America and Canada. It is world’s fourth largest Asian largest waterfall,originated from Guichun River in Jingxi County, Guangxi Region. The river has running water all year round, flowing to Vietnam and back to Guangxi, finally dropping from escarpment at Detian Village, Daxin County. It thus got the name Detian Waterfall. The waterfall is 50 meters away from 53^rd boundary Monument of China-Vietnam Border. The Guichun River flows from north, drops down to three layers of escarpments, hits against rocks and splashes in all directions, looked like thin tough silk comes down from sky from distance and flying pearls at close. The magnificent sounds of water oscillate river valley.

Mingshi Pastoral, 53 km southwest of Daxin County, neighboring with Detian Waterfall,is also national scenic spot. It has total area of 20 square km with Mingshi River twisting and circling, grotesque hills, flowing water, small bridge,bamboo rafting, etc. It has a reputation of small Guilin.

To Daxin, the most popular departure city is Nanning, capital of Guangxi Province.Travelers can take a bus at Nanning Langdong Bus Station or Beida Bus Station to Daxin and transfer to another bus to Detian Waterfall. Accommodation is recommended at Daxin County.
