Program:
Departure from Hong Kong to Macao by boat and visit the Ruin´s of St. Paul, Penha Hill, Barrier Gate of Macao, Kum Iam Temple & Macau Lisboa Casino. After the wonderful visiting, be transfered back to Hong Kong by boat.
-The Ruins of St. Paul Cathedral: they are Macau´s most famous landmark. All that remains of the greatest of Macau´s churches is its magnificent stone facade and grand staircase. The church was built in 1602 adjoining the Jesuit College of St. Paul, the first Western college in the Far East.
-Penha Hill: it is the third highest among the hills in Macao. Penha Hill is 62.7 meters above sea plane. Known as the Bishop´s Hill in the annals of colonial history, this leader amongst the popular destinations in Macao is identical with the city´s colonial clout and authority. Forts, buildings, residences of the Penha hill are wonderful sights.
-Barrier Gate of Macao: it is also called Portas do Cerco Macao is located at the northern most point of Macao. Barrier Gate of Macao is the historic parting between the Chinese mainland and the Macao peninsula. Originally conceived as the barrier by the colonial Portuguese rulers to obstruct cultural and political exchanges between the people of China and Macao.
-Kun Iam Temple: it was built in the 1400s in order to honour the goddess of mercy. It is the oldest temple in Macao. Kun Iam Temple has three main halls including the Hall of Sakyamuni, the Longevity Hall, and Kum Iam Hall. Each contains fairly rich decoration and an impressive collection of wall paintings, pictures, and scrolls.
-Macao Lisoba Casino: it located at the central business district of the city, and can be reach from all parts of the city. The casino offers a wide variety of table games and video pokers. In terms of number of games offered, Macao Lisoba Casino is definitely one of the largest in the city.
