Day 1: All day program from Pingyao to Wang Courtyard and Zhangbi Castle. Then drive back to Pingyao after all program.
Program:
Your private guide and driver will meet you in downtown Pingyao hotel at 8:30 am and drive about 1 hour to
Zhangbi Castle in Jiexiu. It is a Castle village integrating military, residential, production, astrology and religious activities in China. Zhangbi Castle is built according to the ancient Chinese concept of astrology. The buildings layout corresponds to the 28 constellation in the sky.
In the afternoon, we will drive to Lingshi County for visiting
Wang Courtyard which is the largest-existing folk residence cluster in China and a model of the merchant family´s residence in North China, demonstrating the quintessence of Chinese architectural art and cultural values. This huge courtyard is acclaimed as the "First Folk Residence in Cathay".
After all program, drive back to your hotel.
