1 Day Shenzhen to Kaiping Tour Include Kaiping Diaolou and Village, Chikan Folk Street

Day 1: Be met at your hotel and drived to Jiangmen from Shenzhen. All day program to Kaiping Diaolou and Village, Chikan Folk Street.

Program:
Meet you in the hotel lobby (Shenzhen, downtown) in the morning(08:00 am  around). And drive to Kaipiing (250 km, about 3.5 hours driving). Upon arrival, you would have a full day private tour in Kaiping of Jiangmen, include the representative of Kaiping Diaolou and Village - Zili Village and the Lee Garden; and then, walk around Chikan Folk Street. At 5:00 pm around, drive back to Shenzhen.

-Kaiping Diaolou and Village: also called "Kaiping Watchtowers" mainly locates at Kaiping, Jiangmen of Guangdong Province; it was inscribed on the World Culture Heritage List in 2007. The Diaolou is kind of folk building that combines defense and living since 400 year ago; now there are lots of Diaolous with Chinese and Western architecture style elements, they were built during 1925 - 1935 by overseas Chinese. The architectures of the tower have many styles, such as ancient Greece, ancient Rome, and Islam.

Today we will maily visit Zili Village and Li Garden, which are two of the main spot of Diaolou groups.

-Chikan: an ancient port, is in central area of Zhanjiang of Guangdong Province. In ancient Dynasties from Song to Qing, Chikan was a prosperous port as an exchange center between western countries and China. Waterway was the main tranportation.
