Depart from your hotel in the morning to have city tours to visit the Tiananmen Square, the symbolical heart of China and gathering place for the masses. It is the biggest public square in the world, which can hold one million people. Having a free walk there, imagining the great historic events of the 20th century took place there. You will also see legendary landmarks including the Great Hall of the People and the towering 125-foot granite obelisk, Monument to the Peoples Heroes, honoring those who died in revolution.
Walking across the Golden River Bridge, enter the Forbidden City, the inner sanctum and palace where for centuries Chinese emperors ruled their world. It has 9000-room maze of courtyards, places, and ceremonial halls, where 24 emperors used to live. Forbidden City was indeed a forbidden place, where commoners were kept out for nearly 500 years in the past. Tour the palace and imagine the mystery, intrigue and incredible power that reigned here.
After having lunch at the local restaurant, visit the Temple of Heaven. It was built in the 15th century, a sacred site for ancient Beijing, where the emperor and his 1000-member entourage would retreat twice a year for religious ritual. Surrounded by enormous grounds designed in accordance with fengshui, the Temple complex consists of the Celebrated Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, a unique wooden and blue-tiled structure built without a nail. It is considered the supreme achievement of traditional Chinese architecture.

Depart from your hotel after breakfast, visit Hutongs by rickshaw (about 2 hours include taking a rickshaw and visiting some sights), Hutongs are a kind of ancient city alley or lane that is typical in Beijing. Most of them are found around the Forbidden City, and many were built during the three dynasties of Yuan, Ming and Qing. Today, the Hutong is a living museum of Beijing history showing the traditional lifestyle of Beijing people. Tricycles hold two people and peddled by an experienced bicyclist. Stops are made to visit a local family and see first-hand how the people of Beijing live.
After lunch, go to Beijing Airport or Beijing West Train Station to take flight/bullet train to Xi'an. Xi'an is one of the most important cities in China s history and nowadays. It was the first Chinese city to open up its doors to the ancient world during the Tang dynasty when Xi'an blossomed as the first and important stop on the Silk Road. When arrive Xi'an, be transferred to your hotel.

After breakfast, go and visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the main constructions in the famous Buddhist temple-Da-Ci-En Temple is situated at south of the Xi'an city. The pagoda is one of the most distinctive and outstanding landmarks for Xi'an. In the afternoon, go to the Xi'an Ancient City Wall was formally started in the seventh year of Emperor Hongwu reign (1374) and completed in the eleventh year of Hongwu reign (1378). After its completion, the circumference of the city wall was 13.75 kilometers long in an oblong shape. Its height is 12 meters; its top is 12-14 meters wide and its base, 15-18 meters wide.

Depart from your hotel after breakfast, after 1 hour driving to surrounding countryside Xianyang to visit Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It has been regarded as THE 8TH WONDER OF THE WORLD! Over 2,200 years ago, the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang in search of immortality, ordered the construction of a vast army of 8,000 life-sized Terra Cotta warriors and buried with him to protect his empire after his early death. They were discovered accidentally in 1974 by farmers digging a well. For history lovers, the sight is truly breathtaking.
After that, have a tour to Bell Tower, which is the most well-preserved and best-known one among many ancient cities of China. It was originally built in the Yingxiang Temple in 1384, at the intersection of West Street and Guangji Street. Then in 1582, it was moved to its present pivotal position, in the very heart of the city at the junction of four main streets extending to the east, south, west and north, for rebuilding and later restorations. With magnificent carved beams and painted rafters, this classical building is truly elegant. Furthermore, we will visit the Muslim Quarter in Beiyuanmen near the Bell Tower. It starts from the Drum Tower and ends at the Beiyuanmen, totally 500 meters long. Snack is the main attraction in the street. Most of the Xi'an characteristic snack especially the Islamic snack can be easily found here. Many of them are very famous at home, and visitors won't miss the snacks when they visit Xi'an.

If you're lucky, you can watch the monks serving a cermony in a side room.
after lunch, visit Yuyuan Garden and Market: It is characteristic of the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty and it used to be a private garden with 400 years' history. In front of the garden, there is a market called Yu Market. At last, visit a modern skyscraper—Shanghai Center: Standing in Lujiazui, Pudong district, the tower is the highest of its sort in China. Standing by the Huangpu River with 468 meters high, Orental Pearl TV Tower is the highest TV Tower in Asia.
