4 Days Silk Roads Tour To Highlights Of Urumqi

Day 1: Meet you in Urumqi Airport and transfer you to your hotel. Leisure for the rest of the day.

Program:

Upon your arrival in Urumqi, be met at the airport by our your guide, and driven to the hotel. The rest of the time is free for you to explore the city.

Day 2: All day uptown sightseeing to Heaven Lake in Heaven Mountain and Nanshan Pasture.

Program:

The Heaven Lake, the Nanshan Pasture

-Nanshan Grassland (White Poplar Gully): Screened by snow-capped peaks and dotted with tall and straight dragon spruce trees, it is an ideal place to have an excursion.

-Heavenly Lake: Situated in the Tianshan range, 115 km northeast of Urumqi, at an elevation of 1980m, Tianchi Lake is one of the main tourist attractions in China.

Day 3: Urumiqi City sightseeing to The Red Park, Xinjiang Autonomous Region Museum and Er Dao Qiao Bazaar.

Program:

The Hongshan Park, Xinjiang Autonomous Region Museum, Er Dao Qiao Bazaar

-The Hongshan Park: is a pleasant park for visitors to take energetic walks and go rowing. There are also some attractive pagodas and pavilions. The park got its name because of the red mountain in it.

-The Xinjiang Museum: has several dozen original Tang-dynasty paintings. The museum is also famous for its rich excellent collection along the Silk Road.

-Er Dao Qiao Bazaar: This former Uighur market is no better than a chinese run tourist trap these days, but the streets to the north are still the centre of Urumqi's Uighur community.

Day 4: Transfer you to Urumqi Airport to take your flight for next destination. End of Service.

Program:

enjoy your free time and exploring the city until the appointed time for airport transfer. Your Urumqi tour come to an ends after your guide see you off at the airport.

** Urumqi is 2.5 hours driving (about 200 km) to Turpan, Turpan is another important Silk Road Ruins city, if you have enough time, you could visit there 2 - 3 days. The hot spots in Turpan include: Ancient Astana Tombs, Ancient City of Gaochang, Ancient City of Jiaohe, Ancient Karez Systerm, Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves,Emin Minaret, Flaming Mountains, Grape Valley, etc.
