In the morning, we visit the most well-known landmark of Xian, Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses and after lunch, return the downtown area and visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
-The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses: The greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin s tomb.Program:
in the morning, have a visit to the best-preserved Ancent City Wall of Xian. Strolling or cycling along the wall, you can have bird’s view of the city. And then visit Shaanxi Provincial Museum.
In the afternoon, take a flight to Urumqi. You will be met at the airport in Urumqi by our guide, and driven to your hotel. The rest of the time is free for you to explore the city.
-The Ancient City Wall: An extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure
boasting the most complete city wall that survives through Chinese long
history.
-Shaanxi History Museum: One of the main museums in China which holds numerous unearthed cultural relics of China.
Program:
After breakfast, you will head to Heavenly Lake and Heavenly Mountain. It takes about 1.5 hours before arrival at the Heavenly Lake. Then you have to take a shuttle bus and spend another one hour to reach the Lake. Visiting Heavenly Lake by cruise is must-do for tourists. After cruise, do some slight hiking along the lake.
Tip: the temperature at the lake is 6 degrees centigrade lower than the downtown.Program:
You will pay a full day visit to Hongshan Park, Xinjiang Autonomous Region Museum and Erdaoqiao Bazaar. As sunset approaches, you will be transferred to the airport and take a flight to Kashgar. Upon your arrival in Kashgar, be met and transferred to your hotel.
-Red Hill (Hong Shan): from Red Hill (Hong Shan), 910 metres or 3,000 feet high, on the east bank of the Urumqi River, there is a panoramic view of the city.
Program:
after breakfast, you will head to Karakuri Lake. Three hours later, you will arrive at Karakuri Lake. Surrounded by Mt. Muztagata, Mt. Kongur and Jiubie Peak, the crystalline lake is so fascinating under the blue sky. At the south bank of lake, flocks and herds are roaming at the vast grassland. When you arrive there, you will do some hiking around the lake.
In the late afternoon, return Kashgar.Program:
You will spend the day touring around the city, including visits to Fragrant Concubine Tomb, Id Kah Mosque, Sunday Bazaar. Then take evening flight back to Urumqi. Upon your arrival in Urumqi, be met and transferred to your hotel.
-Fragrant Concubine Tomb (Xiangfei Tomb): It is a monumental hall, finished in 1640, with a large dome of dazzling glazed green tiles.
-Id Kah Mosque: This mosque, the largest one in China, can accommodate 20,000 people, and almost certainly the most active, in the country. You can even hear the call to prayer booming around the city center-a rare sound in China.
-Sunday Bazaar: Once a week, Kashgar’s population sells by 50,000 as people from across the area stream into the Sunday morning bazaar. On Sundays, thousands of farmers driving carts flock from the countryside to the great Kashgar bazaar around Aizilaiti Lu, east of the Tuman River.
