Internship Offer

Discoverchinatours.com, a subsidiary company of CCT is offering an internship vacancy for one native, English speaking student. He or she should have a proper style of speaking as well as writing. Our company is an incoming tour operator, handling tourists from all over the world. As compensation for your work, we will offer you opportunities to explore China, as well as a small payment of 400 RMB monthly, as support of your subsistence.

We are a young team of about 10 salaried, open minded tour agents/operators. Every 6 month, we welcome one intern from a German and one from an English speaking country to assist us with our daily work.

Interns requirements:

1. Proper style of speaking and writing.
2. Open minded, with the ability of discrete working.
3. Some experience with the tourism industry.
4. Able to do teamwork
5. Confident to travel alone through China by Bus, Train or Plane.
6. Own notebook
7. An amount of about 220-300 USD for living costs and room rent (standard).

Interns duties:

1. Maintaining the websites of Discoverchinatours.com
2. Creating and improving tour packages, city packages and theme packages
3. Market research in terms of competitors, suppliers and customer behavior
4. Inspection of offers like hotels or tour guide services.
5. Customer service via email and telephone.
6. Attending company internal conferences, to give suggestions for improvements.

Salary / Compensation:

1. Some allowance for support of your catering costs
2. Opportunities to explore China.
3. Free entrance to some scenic spots in Guilin and surroundings.
4. Help with finding reasonable accommodation.
